Basel Classification
This screen is to add the Basel norms to the banks which gets reflected in the user panel.
View
After selecting Basel classification from the Credit Management module, user will be shown the main screen where the following fields with data will be visible if a category is added already or if a new Basel classification is added, the below details are displayed along with search option and add Basel category button.
- Basel Classification Code
- Basel Classification Key
- Basel Classification Name
- Status
- Actions (Edit, Delete)
Add
To add a new Basel classification, User will press the green “Add Basel Classification Type” button on the right, after which they will be redirected to the main screen where the following fields need to be filled and clicked on save button. User can choose to cancel the adding a category by clicking on cancel button. User views a pop-up saying “Are you sure you want to cancel. All unsaved data gets discarded” with yes/no option.

Edit
Clicking on the Edit icon (Action Column) as highlighted in the above screenshot will redirect user to the screen where the user can make changes to relevant Basel classification and click on save button to update the changes. User cannot edit code and key. User can choose to cancel the changes made by clicking on cancel button. User views a pop-up saying “Are you sure you want to cancel. All unsaved data gets discarded” with yes/no option. Facility Code and Facility Key cannot be edited as given by the system.
Delete
Clicking the Delete icon (Action Column) displays a pop-up confirmation if the user is sure about deleting the record.User can press “Yes” to continue or “No” to cancel.
